  • My roommate loaned his car to a friend in need over a week ago and still has not gotten it back.  The day it was borrowed, it supposedly broke down.  My roommate didn’t even know where it was for days.  None of this seems normal to me.  I picked my roommate up from work three times so far (about 20 mins. from home the opposite direction from my job) and took him to find his car the other day.  (Besides not starting, it had a flat tire, likely from the towing).  I don’t mind; he’s helped me a lot since I got here.  It just strikes me as very odd that the friend who borrowed the car has taken no responsibility for getting it back to my roommate or at least helping him get it.  The guy took him to work a couple of days, but my roommate has basically been left to find rides every day until he figures out where to tow the car to find out what’s wrong.

I like it here, for the most part, but I would really like for things to “settle down” to some kind of normalcy to which I can relate.  Till then, my blogging will remain eratic.  Apologies.

  • Oh, heating again, you must be thrilled.  It’s good to hear you’re doing better these days.

I’m glad when people enjoy my photos so much.  It brings a lot of pleasure to know I can share the beauty I find.
