Here’s an odd wild-tidbit:
This year, my birthday is on Thanksgiving. That happens about every six years depending on leap years. Of all the years for it to fall on that day, it had to be this year, when I’ve just moved 3,000 miles from almost everyone I know or care about. Now I’ll have two reasons to be with people I can’t visit while most of LA skips town. Ah, the joy of character building.

yep that indeedly does suck a big one. however its the information age..they could call or email..have a family webcast get together where its you seeing them and them seeing you perhaps? im sure theyll letcha know youre loved and missed by them for BOTH occasions one way or another!
=)
must be hard not to give thanks on a birthday that’s also the day of thanksgiving.
We call it “Thanks a lot” day with some sarcasm when we aren’t feeling too particularly grateful. My birthday fell on Good Friday this year…
Has that ever happened before? I hope your B-day is grand, as well as your Thanksgiving holiday!
My birthday has fallen on Thanksgiving several times, but this is the first time I moved across the country two months before it happened. Thanks.
Have a nice weekend.
happy birthday and happy thanksgiving to you!! (sings enthusiastically) Since you are in a new place on your special days..you could treat yourself to something special and fun, right- a day trip, picnic, spa visit, whatever
