My roommate finally got a new hot water heater installed!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hooray! I had my first hot shower since moving to LA 9/24. It’s true you take for granted what you have until you don’t have it. Thanks to all of you for being such wonderful friends no matter how much or how little I post. You’re all a lifeline when times are tough and just fun the rest of the time. I owe you all healthy chunks of my sanity.

No hot warer since the 24th? Ohhhhh…LOL been THERE! That first hot shower is pretty good stuff, huh!

Wow, I’ll bet that felt amazing. I know what it’s like to have only cold water and when the heat comes back, I usually end up showering for a good 45 minutes. I hope you enjoy yours to the fullest.
I remember going without showers or baths for over a month 4 years ago in the middle of freaking hot weather when our bathtub was being replaced…yuck! And I had to go to work everyday too, in a store…I’m not sure how I managed that anymore…
I’m sure we’ll all take chunks of your sanity or otherwise with equal doses of friendship.
Hot water is one of those essential blessings that can be easy to forget, but world tilting when absent.
