What a weekend. Friday after work I had a nice dinner with friends and got home late. Saturday I got up early to clean, then load furniture onto a truck in preparation for friends painting the condo where I live. I went for food, helped move things around as needed, and watched an “Energizer bunny” boy for about two hours. Then I cleaned up and went to a dinner party, where I hung out past 1 a.m. Sunday I woke up at 7, took care of some email, then spent four hours doing yardwork for the friends who had just moved. Now I’m home, though most of the energy in me has been bled out of me. I doubt I’ll post anything creative later today, but we’ll see how I feel after a shower and food.
Hope you all had good weekends. I’ll be around to check on you over the next day or two. BTW, I fly to LA 9/24 to start anew….

Sorry I missed you the other day online.
You seem like you have had a busy weekend!! I haven’t done much but today is my mom’s birthday and tomorrow is my dad’s. It’s been really hard on my mom since they basically shared a birthday. But we are taking her out to dinner tonight. It will be fun!
[sigh] So, the countdown begins, huh? Everyone I know is moving!! It’s kind of sad. BUT an exciting sort of sad. Your weekend makes ME tired.
since I’m on the getting settled in side of my move, I have all sympathy for the craziness of your next month.
